Marring helps people, organisations and communities move beyond awareness towards meaningful cultural transformation. Through Dharrawal knowledge, connection to Country and practical experience, Marring builds cultural capability, strengthens relationships, develops leaders and supports better decisions for people, place and future generations.
“What continues to inspire me daily to continue is remembering our old people and the people who came before us with the resilience they held through all kinds of challenges our people faced. This is what drives me to keep forging ahead with Reconciliation and Revitalisation. Bridging the relationships between First Nations people and non-Indigenous people while also ensuring the longevity of our Cultural ways by passing it onto to the next generation.
At Marring is it our passion to share our Cultural practices with all, especially kids and students including Indigenous and non-Indigenous who are the future our society”
Our work is deeper than building capability. It creates moments of recognition, release and responsibility. It helps local mob
stand stronger in who they are, and helps non-Indigenous people understand that culture is not something to observe from the outside. It is something living. Something to respect, protect and walk with.
Our work does not stop at education. We help turn understanding into action through learning, leadership, advisory, cultural governance, enterprise, community programs and experiences grounded in Country.
